Siegmund Fuchsbrugger

Siegmund Fuchsbrugger has lived and worked in both Europe and the United States for several years. His actions are characterized by a clear Catholic identity, missionary responsibility, and the commitment to responsibly combine spiritual, physical, and entrepreneurial development.

Siegmund Fuchsbrugger is a theologically trained Catholic layman specializing in biblical theology, evangelization, and church-related educational work. He completed his theological training through certificate and study programs at the St. Augustine Institute (USA) and through church-related training at the Philosophical-Theological University of Brixen .

His theological interests focus on the interpretation of Holy Scripture, the continuity of Scripture, Tradition, and Magisterium, and the practical application of the Christian faith in personal, ecclesial, and social life. His ministry encompasses preaching, Liturgy of the Word, religious instruction, spiritual direction, and catechetical work. He is also currently undergoing formation to become a permanent deacon.

In addition to his theological work, Siegmund Fuchsbrugger has a diverse professional and entrepreneurial background. A martial artist since 1984, he is working as a martial arts and fitness instructor and private coach since 1994 and has been involved for many years as the technical director of the Yoseikan Budo section of SSV Taufers. He is also a trained pastry chef and gelato maker.

He is active in international business. He is an independent partner of Life Plus and manages an international team. In the United States, he co-founded Gelateria Gabriela LLC – Bacio Dolce with his son. He is also the founder and CEO of s&g academy LLC , based in Cape Coral, Florida.

Siegmund Fuchsbrugger was born in Sand in Taufers in South Tyrol and grew up in a successful family of entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry. His family home – particularly influenced by his mother – was deeply rooted in the Catholic faith. This faith profoundly shaped his values, his worldview, and his way of life.

Even at a young age, he felt an inner calling for leadership and a meaningful purpose in life. His interests were always diverse and intense: martial arts, faith, leadership, music, spiritual studies, nature, and especially the USA.

After training as a pastry chef and ice cream maker, he followed his true passion: martial arts. In 1989, he began teaching Yoseikan Budo, and in 1997, he made it his main profession. Since then, he has established the renowned Yoseikan Budo Dojo in Sand in Taufers, as well as recognized youth training camps together with Roman Patuzzi.

Alongside his work as a martial arts instructor, Siegmund has also been active as an entrepreneur since 1997. Around 2010, he expanded his activities to include marketing and leadership development, working with entrepreneurs, professionals, educators, students, and company founders. Since 2014, his business focus has been on referral marketing through Lifeplus, where he leads an international team in Europe and North America.

The United States has profoundly shaped his life. After many extended stays, he and his wife Gabi received their US Green Cards in 2017, and he subsequently founded several companies – first in South Dakota, later in Cape Coral, Florida, where he has lived since 2020. In 2024, the South Tyrolean became a dual citizen of Italy and the USA.

His spiritual journey continued to mature in the USA. While he cultivated close friendships in Protestant and free church communities and was involved in Bible study groups and youth work, his conviction in the Catholic Apostolic Church deepened through the study of the Apostolic Fathers, Saint Augustine, Saint Thomas Aquinas, as well as Catholic theology and apologetics.

Today, Siegmund serves as a lector in both South Tyrol and Florida and is pursuing theological studies at St. Augustine Institute and the Philosophical-Theological University of Brixen. He is preparing for ministry as a lay preacher and deacon.

His wife Gabi is a very strong force in his life. Together with her, he enjoys family life with their three children and grandchildren.
